Garis hijau, merah jambu atau putih menegak hampir selalu bermaksud panel skrin itu sendiri rosak — biasanya selepas jatuh atau tertekan dalam poket atau beg. Garis boleh muncul beberapa hari selepas jatuh, dan selalunya makin banyak.
Skrin berkelip, ghost touch atau touch tak respon boleh jadi skrin, penyambung skrin di dalam, atau kadang-kadang software. Restart boleh bantu tahu yang mana.
